Internship information
General Farm Description: Our agricultural practices cultivate healthy soils, crops, pastures and livestock to produce healthy, nutritious food for the communities that we serve. We believe that these practices offer multiple benefits to our farm and our region because they cultivate healthy relationships on the farm and in the food system, minimize our need for inputs and our production of wastes, and support the accumulation of wealth. Our livestock operation is certified Animal Welfare Approved. Products are distributed via a meat CSA, on-site farm store, and to food access partners as part of our donation program. Work includes day-to-day care of the animals as well as monitoring breeding, birthing, caring for sick or injured animals, and pasture management.

- Sessions lasting 1-3 hrs on 20 different key farming topics and systems delivered by Glynwood farm managers
- Visiting many other regional farms as part of Mid-Hudson CRAFT
- Access to a robust alumni network and other organizational contacts for long-term technical and general networking assistance
