Resilient Communities

Women in Agriculture

NCAT believes supporting women producers builds an inclusive, regenerative agricultural community where everyone can succeed. Women can face barriers when seeking help, and we are here for them.

While women make up half the population, only 36% of farmers and ranchers are women. NCAT offers a wide range of support for beginning and experienced farmers, designing some of our work with women as the focus to ensure their needs are met in a male-dominated industry. Whether we are featuring female farmers in a podcast or discussing appropriately sized farm equipment for women, we seek to spotlight ways women can succeed on the land.
