Internship information
General Farm Description: We are a vegetable farm in the west of Missoula. We sell to a few restaurants and at our farm stand. We grow a full array of vegetables, herbs, flowers and some fruit. In the past we have focused on baby salad greens, arugula, baby kale and specialized crops for restaurants. We now are focused on keeping the basics - carrots, beets, broccoli, etc, in stock and on having our specialties like haricot vert beans available for our farm stand customers. The farm is run by Kim, with the help of my husband on the weekends. We have a heated greenhouse and 3 unheated hoop houses where we grow warm weather crops such as basil, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. We have 2 fields and farm on approximately 7-8 acres. We are a short bike ride from 2 rivers, close to town and close to great hiking.CRAFT Member Farm? No
