Internship information

General Farm Description: Greyfield's gardens are two fenced sections that total about 1.5 acres. We grow year round with the warm season being our slow season. The gardener works with the chefs to grow a variety of seasonal veggies, herbs, and cut flowers for the inn. Organic methods, no till, compost, and cover cropping are used to maintain a healthy ecosystem. The garden is also a lovely part of our guests' experience and they wander through or stop in for a set tour.

This is not an internship but a full time job.  We are looking for an experienced farmer or farming couple to join our team at Greyfield Inn on Cumberland Island, Ga.  We do provide housing in a private apartment, meals, medical and dental insurance after 60 days, paid vacation after one year, and a competitive salary.
