Internship information

General Farm Description: Claverach Farm has been in our family for over 120 years. Located just 20 miles southwest of St. Louis in Eureka, MO, the entire family property is over 1000 acres - the Claverach portion is about 300 acres. The land here is very special because it has been undisturbed from development, extensive logging, or intensive agriculture. It looks more like what you would see in the southern Ozarks than a piece of ground so close to St. Louis. We farm about eight acres of mixed vegetables, fruit, and wine grapes.

Internship Details:

We are looking for a farm intern to help us for the 2022 season. Responsibilities will include weeding, harvesting, packing orders, and vineyard work.

Educational Opportunities: We have been doing this for over 25 years so we have lots of knowledge to pass on!

Skills Desired: Prior farming or gardening experience is a plus.

Meals: No, but produce and eggs will be provided.

Stipend: Yes.

Housing: Yes. We have a lovely furnished studio apartment above our barn.
