General Farm Description: Chaseholm Farm Creamery makes small batch, artisanal cheese; producing both raw and pasteurized milk cheeses, including bloomy rind, washed rind, and fresh cheeses. Chaseholm Farm is certified Organic and practices 100% grass fed rotational grazing. The Creamery is located on the multi-generational Chaseholm Farm, just outside of Pine Plains, NY.

Full time Cheesemaker Position (housing not included)
You will assist in all aspects of cheesemaking; it is an excellent opportunity to learn a new craft. Job duties will include milk receiving, pasteurizing, cheese production, administering cleaning and sanitation protocols, general plant and equipment cleaning, cheese ripening & affinage, cheese packaging and labeling.

Skills Desired: Experience in the field of cheesemaking is not required but a strong work ethic and team spirit are a must. If you are experienced in dairy processing all the better. Work can be physically demanding at times; an ideal candidate should be able to lift 30 lbs comfortably. Come spend a day with us for a working interview and meet the team.
