Internship information
General Farm Description: Arevalos Farm is a third-generation family farm nestled in the middle of the Sulphur Springs Valley of Cochise County. One of the few mid-sized organic farms in the region, the farm produces not only the best tasting, but the largest amount of Tohono O’odham Yellow Meat watermelon, cantaloupe and Canary Melons for local consumption. It is also one of the only suppliers of organic non-GMO corn (Mexican June) in the area and the only producer of its genetic dry bean creation, El Frijol Mechudo. The farm has been a mainstay of the community for more than 60 years and draws a large following due to its capacity to supply quality products on a larger scale.CRAFT Member Farm? No
