General Farm Description: Wandering Roots is a 15 acre Diverse Organic Farm in the heart of the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. We grow mixed vegetables and fruits to sell to Farmers Markets, CSA, Restaurants and Stores in the Rogue Valley.CRAFT Member Farm? No

Internship Details:
We are hiring two full time field crew members for the rest of 2020 season. One or more full seasons of experience on a production vegetable farm of 5+ acres is required. The typical work week will be 3 days of harvesting and packing produce along with 2 days weeding, planting, farmers market work. We are looking for individuals that are serious about farming and looking to join a crew of experienced farmers.
Educational Opportunities: We are not offering educational opportunities other than what you will learn from working day to day on our farm. There is a lot of information to be learned in farming and the best way to do it is to jump right in and work hard, soaking all the hands on info you can. We are available to answer questions randomly but will not have a formal educational opportunity.
Skills Desired: We are looking for individuals with prior organic vegetable farming experience
Meals: no
Stipend: Pay depends on experience. Starting pay is $13/hour for someone with some experience
Housing: all of our housing is full for season, but we could set something simple up for sleeping and we have communal kitchen, shower and bathroom.
