General Farm Description: located 2 hours from NYC in the Litchfield hills, Sun One Organic farm is a 65 acre diversified certified organic and real organic project produce farm growing vegetables and fruit. We utilize several permaculture techniques and are committed to using as much no till production as possible. The farm is nearly 100% solar powered. We grow a mix of vegetables and fruits and sell to our 60 member CSA, local farm market, wholesale accounts and our new farm store.CRAFT Member Farm? No

Internship Details:
Interns would assist in all aspects of production including planting, weeding, crop care, harvesting, processing and distribution. The owner is also involved with green building and interns are given the option of assisting with various building projects on the farm.
Educational Opportunities: We will share our knowledge on sustainable crop production, permaculture, green buildings and renewable energy.
