Internship information
General Farm Description: On our farm, we grow a diversified selection of seasonal vegetables, cut flowers, and perennial crops. We grow year round in our high tunnels, caterpillar tunnels, and greenhouse. Our cut flower season begins in January and runs through November. We grow a wide variety of specialty cut flowers for florists, grocery stores, and the farmers’ market. Our perennial crops include over half an acre of asparagus and blueberries. For produce, we grow a diverse selection of annual crops including strawberries, lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, squash and a whole lot more. Although we are not certified we do use only OMRI approved materials and organic practices. Our farm is conveniently located 20 minutes north of downtown Durham.CRAFT Member Farm? Yes
