General Farm Description: Our Farm is a 5 acre organic diversified vegetable and flower farm on a twenty acre plot of land. We are a multigenerational family farm, and have been owned and operated by women for 13 years. We market our products direct to consumers via farmer's markets and our 115 member vegetable CSA and 50 member flower CSA.CRAFT Member Farm? No

Internship Details:
Our Internship position is a paid hourly position that lasts from the beginning of May to the middle of October. Interns will assist in all aspects of running a diversified vegetable and flower farm, including but not limited to; managing soil health, maintaining relevant equipment, planting and maintaining crops, managing crop pests and disease, harvesting crops, safely processing crops, packaging vegetables for sale, arranging cut flower bouquets, interacting with CSA members and customers at drop sites and farmers markets.
This position is a good fit for someone who likes variety in their job, enjoys physical work outdoors, and likes working with other people. Regardless of whether you want to farm for the rest of your career, or if you just want to be more connected with your food, this position would supply plenty of opportunities to learn by working with others. Educational Opportunities: We provide many opportunities to learn about crop health, soil health, marketing strategies, crop rotations, supporting native pollinators, and how to be a part of a local food system.
