General Farm Description: Massa Organics is a 500 acre regenerative organic farm near Chico in Northern California. We grow organic rice, almonds, sheep, and mandarin oranges, which we direct market through our website, at 10 farmers markets per week, and through distributors.

Internship Details:

We are looking for general help on the farm, doing lots of things! Sheep care, dog care, equipment operation and maintenance, pruning, weeding, mulching, compost production, order fulfillment, harvesting nuts, rice and oranges, and more!

Educational Opportunities: Learn how to grow and market organic commodities at scale! We will also train you to maintain and operate heavy equipment.

Skills Desired: Livestock experience and mechanical experience preferred.

Meals: no, but farm produce is available to employees.

Stipend: Pay ranges from $15-$20/hr depending on experience, skills and dedication

Housing: There is potential for housing if needed.
