Internship information

General Farm Description: Mama Earth Farm is located in the foothills of El Dorado County, 25 minutes south of Placerville at an elevation of 3100ft. The farm is on a 20 acre property with about 5 acres of production ground. Mama Earth Farm has been producing fresh food for our local community for 17 years. We are 100% committed to organic production methods. We sell our produce through a weekly box subscription program (CSA), our farm stand, and currently doing some wholesale flowers.

Internship Details:

General farm position.  Helping keep beds clean, harvest, pack, plant.  If you’re good at particular tasks you can lean towards those on a regular basis.

Being comfortable working in cold or hot temperatures is important, but we do try to organize tasks based on the weather as best as possible.  You’ll typically be working with 1 to 4 other people.

The schedule is flexible to make this job work harmoniously with your other life priorities.
