Internship information
General Farm Description: Small scale certified organic fruit and vegetable farm using biodynamic practices. Selling through a CSA, farmers markets, wholesale, and restaurants. We do a mix of low/no till farming with a combination of fields that are tractor cultivated.CRAFT Member Farm? No
Internship Starts: May-26

Internship Details:
Interns will work 4 days a week with one Saturday working a farmers market a month. Interns will learn all aspects of organic vegetable farming from harvesting, transplanting, seeding, greenhouse work, tractor work, weeding, irrigation systems, etc. Never know what the season has in store all we can do is be resilient in the face of it.

Skills Desired: Able to lift 50lbs on your own Comfortable working in all weather conditions, rain, heat, etc. Able to work well by themselves and with others. Open to communication and Able to also bring up their own ideas and thoughts to the weekly crew meetings.
Meals: Yes a csa share is welcome to all interns for free and also invited to join in weekly crew dinners.
Stipend: Yes $1500 a month
Housing: Yes rustic housing in a tiny house camper or in a tipi. Access to kitchen, and bathroom with shower is provided.
