General Farm Description: Graves Mill Farm is an historic property that is being restored to include animals, vegetable gardens and overnight guests. We are affiliated with our immediate neighbor (Rapidan River Ranch - a regenerative grass fed cattle operation set. 2018)CRAFT Member Farm? No

Internship Details:
Intern will assist in establishing an organic garden to feed our farm families, care for barnyard animals, work with pastured poultry which follow herd of 200 cattle on sister property Rapidan River Ranch and help with hospitality for overnight paying guests. Also hope to establish a Farm Stand.
Educational Opportunities: Learn regenerative practices for raising beef and poultry.
Skills Desired: Need to have a valid drivers license, be comfortable with animals and farm equipment, capable of physical work and vaccinated for Covid 19, energetic and enthusiastic.
Meals: Some shared meals and access to farm and ranch products.
Stipend: $12/hour for approximately 40 hours a week. Part Time options available.
Housing: Private room in communal, nicely upgraded 1880s farm house.
