General Farm Description: Mise En Place Farm is a 2 acre mixed vegetable farm. We grow greens, tomatoes, root vegetables, ginger, cucumbers, peppers, microgreens, herbs, and more. We are not certified but we maintain organic practices.CRAFT Member Farm? No

Internship Details:
Part-time farmhand needed to join our crew starting first week of April, 2 days per week for the season ending late November. Schedule is flexible. Shifts are Tuesdays-Fridays. Harvest day is usually Thursday. Mise En Place Farm is a sustainable, no till, regenerative 1 acre farm in Davidsonville, 10 minutes West of Annapolis. We grow tomatoes, peppers, greens, squash, herbs, root vegetables, cucumbers, squash, herbs, microgreens, ginger and more. We also have chickens and some fruit trees(and dogs). Experience not necessary, just willingness to learn farming and work hard outdoors.
Duties to include:
Bed preparation, transplanting, harvesting, weeding/cultivating, washing vegetables and equipment, packaging, broadforking, greenhouse vegetable management, compost production, assisting with farm projects, heavy lifting. Compensation is $15-17/hour based on experience and ability.

Skills Desired: Experience is not necessary, just willingness to learn and good work ethic.
Meals: No. We have paid lunchbreaks midday.
Stipend: Farmhands are paid as employees, $15-17 per hour.
