General Farm Description: The Farm at Trinity Health, Ann Arbor is a hospital-based farm focused on increasing access to local, healthy food for populations most in need. The Farm runs a 350 member aggregated CSA, educational programs and an intensive, year-round vegetable production to connect the local community to good food.CRAFT Member Farm? No

Internship Details:
The Farm is seeking passionate individuals who are starting their career in agriculture and food systems for a 40 hour/week, 16 week internship. The agriculture specialty intern will be focused on learning to operate the diversified vegetable production, including attending the farmstand, leading volunteers and executing all aspects of vegetable production. The intern will also assist with packing and distributing the CSA, attend Farm events as needed and support other Farm programs.
Pay is $15/hour with benefits including health care and retirement.
Candidates may also apply to the Education Specialty Internship.
Educational Opportunities: Farm tours, weekly discussion, ample on the job training, cross training with other programs, development opportunities
Skills Desired: No previous farming experience is required, but candidates should have a demonstrated interest in agriculture and food systems, whether through volunteering, course work or employment.
Meals: No, but some produce is provided.
Stipend: Pay is hourly.
Housing: No.
