Internship Details:
Kitchen Garden Farm is hiring harvesters for the 2023 season. Full-time positions start in June and run through Thanksgiving. Year-round work possible for multi-year commitment.
We are looking for highly energetic, motivated and passionate individuals who enjoy working outside and want to do the work necessary to provide our community with high quality organic vegetables.
Responsibilities include harvesting, washing/packing produce, weeding and other field tasks. Previous farm experience preferred. Valid driver’s license, strong attention to detail, safe handling of equipment, ability to work independently and on a team, and eagerness to learn are all essential. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work Monday through Saturday June-October with speed, endurance, and good cheer. Hours are generally 7am-5pm M-F and 8am-1pm every other Saturday, an average of 45-50 hours per week during peak season. Part time schedules (4 days/week plus 1 Sat per month) will also be considered.
Starting wage is $16/hour plus overtime > 40 hours, plus farm lunch provided M-F and unlimited vegetables. To apply email a cover letter, resume, and references to info at kitchen garden farm dot com.
