General Farm Description: Willits Valley Farm is a 40 acre farm in the Willits Valley, 130 miles north of SF. WE are looking to provide opportunities to those who want to farm a chance to do so without the high cost of land purchase. Looking to Farm in Willits
40 acre farm in the Willits Valley looking for the right 1-4 people to join this land project and grow some food, some herb, and build.
Opportunity to buy in or earn equity for the right people after a trial period.
Housing options are a bedroom in the house, a trailer onsite, or your own camper or trailer or tent. Building a smaller straw bale or pallet house is an option.
Rent options are negotiable- with where you may live and what skills and work you bring to the land. Something in the $400-800 +/- mo range.
Looking for self motivated people. Who want to farm.
This is an opportunity to operate your own farm business.
We have 50 chickens, veggie beds, young orchards and blueberries. We have tools and water and refrigerated shipping containers. You can use some of our resources.
Selling direct, at our local farmers markets, or through the food hub(https://mendolakefoodhub.org/) are some options.
Our well has water just 15 feet down in August.
