Internship information
General Farm Description: Beginning in 1990, Suzanne Gasparotto, Owner of Onion Creek Ranch in Texas, has developed and marketed breeding stock MEAT goats and sold them to commercial breeders around the USA and around the world to put MEAT on their other-breed does' offspring. Tennessee Meat Goats(tm) and TexMasters(tm) are the only two breeds of goats that have no dairy genetics in them and have been developed to add useable meat rather than waste on commercial goats destined for consumption. Onion Creek Ranch also provides an annual four-day seminar, GoatCamp(tm), for adults wishing to learn how to raise meat goats properly and profitably. Oct 24-27, 2022 will be the 21st GoatCamp(tm). Candidate will have the opportunity to learn the meat-goat industry from the ground up from Suzanne Gasparotto, who has developed these breeds and has 33 years of invaluable information to impact to the right person.CRAFT Member Farm?
