General Farm Description: Tres Arboles Garden is a two-acre farm where we produce a wide variety of annual and perennnial vegetable crops using intensive gardening techniques. We place an emphasis on mindfulness of work with the intention of efficiently growing high-quality produce in both open fields and hoophouses. We sell our produce to CSAs, a farmers cooperative, non-profit organizations, and we run our own CSA.CRAFT Member Farm? No

Internship Details:
As an assistant farmer you would work three 6-hour shifts per week at a rate of $15/hr and your responsibilities would include all aspects of vegetable production from bed preparation and seeding to harvesting and selling. An organized curriculum will guide the learning process. There will be a focus on hoophouse production and extra hours may be offered throughout the season.
Educational Opportunities: A curriculum is followed to provide a structured learning process through the season. This will include experiential learning in the field and learning through discussion and literature.
Skills Desired: Must have at least one season experience working on a farm.
Meals: We provide full access to what we grow.
Stipend: Wage pay is $15/hr
