Internship information
General Farm Description: We are a certified organic veggie farm located in the Applegate Valley. The property is over 30 acres, about 5 of which are dedicated to growing annual veggies which are sold at two farmers markets, a number of grocery stores, and restaurants in the area. We have a fruit orchard and a berry patch, as well as goats, sheep, horses and chickens. We are widely diversified and offer a large range of opportunities to experience a lot of different aspects of farming and growing food.CRAFT Member Farm? No

Minimum Length of Stay: 2 weeks, but we prefer a 3 month commitment
Internship Details:
We ask interns to work 5 days a week, 8 hour days. Days consist of harvesting, planting, weeding, and a varied combination of tasks that go into farming.
In addition to our vegetable internships, we are also seeking a dedicated care taker for our animals. This role would include daily care for our small herd of dairy goats, sheep, layer hens, and our three horses.
Educational Opportunities: We offer education in working with annual veggies, perennial fruit crops, animals, flowers, medicinal herbs, and more.
Skills Desired: We prefer at least a year of experience in a related field but are willing to work with applicants who have no experience.
Meals: Yes, we have a shared lunch every day and provide bulk dried foods as well as endless fresh veggies!
Stipend: YES, stipend varies upon experience
Housing: Yes, we have a variety of housing options available from canvas tents to trailers to rooms.
