General Farm Description: Amaltheia Organic Dairy is a family run farm located just outside of Bozeman, Montana in the foothills of the Bridger Mountains. We are a certified organic farm that has been handcrafting award winning goat cheeses for over 20 years. We utilize our by-products, creating our own compost, as well as grow a wide variety of vegetables. Our vegetable production consists of 9 acres, 5 high tunnels and 5 cat tunnels. We sell wholesale to grocery stores, select restaurants, two local farmers markets and began a CSA in 2022. This posting is for the vegetable production portion of the farm.CRAFT Member Farm? No

We strive to maintain a sane and balanced work schedule but there are times that we work later to ensure all products are washed and packed for delivery the next morning.
Educational Opportunities: We will have twice monthly catered lunches created with produce, cheese and pork from the farm. Each Fourth of July we do a farm "float down", firing up the pizza oven before we head tube down the Madison River as a crew. We plan to have a CSA members only pot luck/tour of the farm as well as a Farm to Table dinner. A kickball game with other farm crews in the Gallatin Valley. Large Volunteer Harvests in October to get all of our root crops out of the ground. Between 50 - 100 folks from the community showed up last season on each volunteer day! End of season potluck and bonfire.
