CCOF has partnered with California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) to administer relief grants for expenses incurred as a result of extreme weather and climate impacts – including flooding and fires. Certified organic producers in California are eligible for direct reimbursement assistance from $5,000 to a maximum of $20,000 per 12-month period through CDFA CUSP funding. Funding is prioritized for small and medium scale operations and for SDFR communities. Applicants must submit a complete and detailed description of the hardship endured and supporting financial documentation of economic loss. The program accepts applications quarterly, and the current quarter ends September 25, 2026.
