NCAT’s Abundant Ogallala Project, supported by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation’s Conservation Partners Program, is helping producers and landowners across Colorado, Kansas, and New Mexico develop conservation plans that support the long-term health of working lands and water resources. As conservation planning progresses, producers consistently wonder how to cover initial implementation costs. This webinar connects ranchers, farmers, and landowners directly with organizations that provide funding and incentives for implementing conservation practices. During this webinar, participating organizations will provide brief overviews of available programs, share information about eligibility requirements and funded practices, and answer questions from producers interested in implementing conservation projects on their operations.

Topics covered:

  • Available conservation funding opportunities
  • Types of projects and practices that may qualify for assistance
  • Producer and landowner eligibility requirements
  • Application processes and key contacts
  • Technical assistance and next steps for interested participants
