The annual Farming for the Future Field Day hosted by the Oceana Conservation District, Michigan State University Extension and Oceana County Farm Bureau is open to anyone interested in learning about practices they can implement to improve soil heath, profitability, and sustainability on their farms. The day will include equipment demonstrations and presentations such as drone seeding of cover crops in asparagus, mowers that provide regenerative benefits to fruit crops, an electric weeder, how to do your own soil health assessments, and using biological methods to control pests.
