Organic farmer, author, and food entrepreneur Thaddeus Barsotti believes that organic producers could capture more of the price premium for their products by better communicating the value of organic production up the food chain, reports Farm Progress. His experiences as a farmer and as a developer of platforms that connect producers with buyers who value the practices they use shaped his views on the importance of talking about the broader benefits of organic production in order to make it economically viable. Barsotti will be the keynote speaker at the 2026 Organic Growers Summit in December in Monterey, California.
