Internship information
General Farm Description: Crown Point Ecology Center is a 115 acre historic farm located in northern Ohio near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Our property has an 8 acre certified organic serving over 100 CSA members annually. Crown Point hosts an organic plant sale each May bringing hundreds of guests to the property looking for unique vegetable varieties. Our mission supports donations of vegetable plants and produce to the local hunger center. On average, we donate thousands of plants to community gardens and approximately 20% of our harvest.CRAFT Member Farm? No
Internship Starts: February 2020 through May 2020 (12-24 weeks)
Internship Ends: May - October 2020

Organic Farm Seasonal Intern
Educational Opportunities: Potential for area farm visits
Skills Desired: Previous farming or gardening experience preferred; strong work ethic and communication skills, teamwork, positive attitude; able to lift 50-70 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in all weather.

Stipend: $360 weekly and opportunity for paid days off
