General Farm Description: Certified Organic Farm located in South Texas with mild winters that produces vegetables for wholesale and local markets.CRAFT Member Farm? No

Internship Details:
Hands on experience from seed starting to direct marketing. Responsibilties will vary throughout the season to include crop planning, seeding trays, transplanting, planting, bed preparation, weeding, Intergrated pest management, harvesting, packaging, deliveries, farmers markets and farm record keeping.
Educational Opportunities: Opportunity to learn Spanish, participate in local workshops, access to our library of farming resources and farmers.
Skills Desired: Looking for someone passionate about organic farming and desire to contribute to growing the farm. Not afraid to work hard outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Preferably experienced using basic farm tools. Able to lift 50lbs. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Meals: No, but vegetables from the farm will be provided.
Stipend: Starting at $150/week
