Internship Details:
CAA is seeking a social marketing intern to help support our communications strategy and goals. The intern will primarily help develop a social media strategy to promote The 607 CSA (one of CAA’s several programs) and communicate the work of the organization. Breadth of tasks and hours per week will depend on intern availability.
Examples of tasks include:
– Content creation for Instagram and Facebook channels
– Develop a content calendar to organize and plan asset creation and release
– Attend team meetings to stay up to date on organizational work and give input on communications ideas
– Organize storage of new and existing assets
Ideal candidates will enjoy detail-oriented work, organizing disparate assets and content, and thinking creatively. If you are at all interested in local food systems or non-corporate work environments and have worked with any design program (including Canva), apply for this project!
Educational Opportunities: This position will be overseen by our Marketing and Design Manager and will have a chance to learn about a newly formed and dynamic nonprofit
Skills Desired: Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and/or other design software is necessary
