Internship information

General Farm Description: Mystery Bay Farm is a small scale goat dairy located on the Olympic Peninsula on Marrowstone Island. We’re entering our 15th year as a licensed, Grade A Dairy. We have a herd of 25 Alpine goats. We practice rotational grazing on surrounding acreage and make all our own grass hay for the non-pasture months. Our dairy produces cheese, yogurt and Cajeta (goat’s milk caramel sauce) for the local market.

Internship Details:

Employees participate in all aspects of the operation: managing kidding season (births, bottle feeding, etc.), milking, cheese making, pasture and hay, cleaning, packaging and distribution. No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn, work hard and have humility. Enjoyment of goats, rural living and a family farm culture is necessary.
