General Farm Description: Moon Valley Farm is a 25 acre transitionally-organic vegetable and herb farm selling direct to CSA and restaurants in Baltimore, DC and Frederick, MD. We are woman-owned and grow and sell year-round. We focus on storage crops and specialty veggies.CRAFT Member Farm? Yes

Internship Details:
We are looking for some amazing individuals to join our field crew!
Field crew harvests vegetables, transplants, irrigates, operates machinery, trellises, and more. We are looking for folks with a great, positive attitude and a go-get-em hustle.
Candidates must be very comfortable working outdoors in all safe weather conditions. Hours can vary but start early, with shifts available 6-7 days a week. These positions are seasonal and run from the beginning of April through the end of October — potential for year-round employment for the right candidate.

Qualifications:
Passionate about organic vegetables
Great attitude
Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills
Educational Opportunities: Learn tractor skills, greenhouse, microgreens, herbs, high tunnel growing and top-notch pack shed
Skills Desired: Previous farm experience is preferred but not necessary. Go-get-em hustle and great attitude are ideal!

Stipend: Yes hourly wage starting at $13/hr
