General Farm Description: 80 cow certified organic pasture-based dairy farm in the Bitterroot Valley of Western MT.

Internship Details:

33-40 hours per week, days and hours may vary.
Various tasks working full-time in our nearby creamery making cheese, butter, bottling milk.

Educational Opportunities: Learning all aspects of cheesemaking and dairy product manufacturing.

Skills Desired: Minimum 1 year farming experience

Meals: No

Stipend: Yes, $11.50/hr.

Housing: Dry camper available March-October at dairy with nearby toilet facilities. Winter housing would have to be secured locally by applicant as camper is unheated.
