General Farm Description: Et Cetera Farm is a 15-acre organic vegetable farm located in the Hudson Valley. The farm has been certified organic ny NOFA-NY since 2009. Et Cetera Farm is looking for part-time farm help with a possibility of full-time position for 2021.
Et Cetera Farm, a small diversified certified organic vegetable farm, located in Hillsdale, NY is currently looking for a part time farm help. The general duties are greenhouse work, bed preparation, transplanting, weeding, trellising, harvesting, washing and tending the onsite farm stand. Starting early March to late November, working hours can be flexible daily or weekly based on the upcoming duties and weather conditions, however, generally, it will be 20-30 hours a week. Some farm experience is helpful. Hourly pay is $12/hour and may increase based on ongoing assessment.

Educational Opportunities: Some of the educational opportunities include: Organic and Sustainable growing practices. High tunnel cultivation practices. Hands on experience growing rice, ginger and turmeric in the northeast.
Skills Desired: Previous farm or garden experience helpful.

Stipend: The position is paid $12/hr. Pay may be negotiated based on experience.
