Small Ruminant Dairy Benchmarking and Best Practices Online

From 2024 to 2026, the University of Vermont (UVM) Extension had funding from the Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center to provide technical assistance for goat and sheep dairy businesses. As part of this project, UVM documented the best practices for small ruminant dairy business models. Final reports on factors affecting goat dairy milk quality and small, medium, and large Vermont dairy goat producer profiles are available online.
