Ideally we are looking for someone to milk our cows, morning and night, 5 days a week. We only milk 4 cows, but as we produce raw milk it is extremely important we do it right. Our cows are milked on a pipeline system. No need to know how to milk, but you can’t be afraid of large animals. You just need to know how to pay attention to detail, follow instructions, and work independently once trained. We also will have you help in various farm chores for a few extra hours, depending on what is going on.
We will share all our knowledge in animal care as we do it all ourselves.
Educational Opportunities: Milking on a pipeline system, animal care, etc etc
Skills Desired: A love of animals is a must
Meals: We provide fresh milk and eggs, a selection of meat raised on the farm and beans and rice. The rest is up to you.
Stipend: 1500 / month
