Our Gulf States team serves Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

This team supports southern producers by providing technical assistance rooted in first-hand knowledge of the region's climate and communities. Our Gulf States team’s focus areas include financial and risk management, vegetable and livestock production, organic production, community food systems, and small-ruminant husbandry. This team focuses on issues specific to the region through collaborative projects that center on sustainable agriculture, food justice, and food systems.
