General Farm Description: We are a small, diverse family farm located outside of Edenton, NC on the Yeopim River. First certified organic in the early 1980's, we grow a variety of produce using horses, tractors, and hand tools. Crops are grown in a high tunnel and in the fields. Most of our produce is sold at a farmers market on the Outer Banks, but we also have done CSAs, sell to several restaurants, and wholesale. In addition to the crops, we also have a flock of sheep and a couple of cows. Examples of crops grown are tomatoes, peppers, peas, garlic, shittake mushrooms, asparagus, watermelon, okra, kale, collards, turnips, sweet potatoes....
