American Farmland Trust and the Heirloom Collective are looking for Women and BIPOC farmers and ranchers in Texas to participate in a two-part Strong Roots, Healthy Lands Learning Circle at McCann Family Ranch in Wharton County, Texas. Part One will focus on resolving heirs' property issues, hands-on assistance with enrolling in NRCS EQIP programs, and other beginner farmer resources. Part Two, coming in early Spring 2026, will continue the journey with tools for succession planning and regenerative range management with a hands-on pasture walkthrough. Those selected to participate will receive a stipend to help with travel costs.
