Ogallala Commons is hosting a Playa Field Day with an opportunity to hear about the Mid-Continent Shorebird Conservation Initiative and hear presentations about birds like American Avocet, Black-Legged Stilts, Plovers, Sandpipers, Phalaropes, and other birds that use the mudflats of playas. The event includes a tour of OC Playa Classroom and playas in the locality to see shorebirds.
