Improving Water Quality and Wildlife Habitat Through Farm-Wide Conservation Practices

Ed and Leta Olson’s goal is to make sure the water that runs off their corn, soybean and alfalfa farm is as clean as possible. This free field day will visit a filter strip, shelter belts and a grassed waterway the Olsons have installed. Also, learn about programs available to farmers and landowners to create habitat and reduce water runoff.
