This event is part of the free Urban Agriculture Field Day series organized by ISU Extension and Outreach. The Sinsinawa Mound Collaborative Farm, located in Sinsinawa, Wisconsin, is a collective of three farms: City Girl Farming, Sandhill Farm, and Dropseed Farm. A tour of Sandhill Farm and Dropseed Farm will occur at the Field Day, along with oral presentations about their practices. Jess Hepker (Dropseed Farm) is a non-native trying to teach by example how one person can learn from history to imagine a healing landscape. Andie Donnan and Ashley Neises (Sandhill Farm) grow a diverse array of lettuce, herbs, root vegetables, and garden plants. Sara Wiegel is the General Operations Admin Assistant at the Collaborative.
