NCAT’s clean energy practices are grounded in conservation and the responsible use of resources.

We focus on reducing energy demand first, to ensure that investments in both energy efficiency and renewable energy have the greatest possible impact on reducing the overall environmental impact of energy use. At a broader scale, we work to advance widespread energy conservation and clean energy improvements, which can reduce demand on the grid and increase energy sustainability.

Northwestern Energy Rebate Program
NCAT assists NorthWestern Energy’s commercial customers in Montana identify and implement cost-effective energy efficiency improvements.
Commercial Energy Services
We conduct energy audits to identify the most effective energy conservation measures for reducing consumption.
Residential Energy Services
Homes that are energy-efficient cost less to maintain and are more resilient, healthier, and more comfortable for residents.
Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program
NCAT operates the LIHEAP Clearinghouse, an information hub, and NEAR, a resource for people who need assistance assistance paying their energy bills.
AgriSolar Clearinghouse
Co-location of solar panels and farming or ranching is a cutting edge solution that makes communities more resilient.
