Cornell Small Farms Program is hosting a Growing Uncommon Fruit Cohort, beginning in January 2027 that will provide technical guidance, peer support, and access to experienced mentors. Cohort members will receive an opportunity for free enrollment into the online course BF 123: Agroforestry Fruit Crops, participate in virtual learning sessions outside of the online course with experts and NYS growers producing specialty and uncommon fruit, and collaborate with other aspiring and beginning farmers. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to diversify your current operation, this cohort will help you gain the knowledge and insight needed to grow uncommon fruit successfully.
