Humane Farming Mentorship Program Accepting Mentee and Mentor Applications

Food Animals Concern Trust (FACT) is currently accepting applications for both mentees and mentors in its Humane Farming Mentorship Program. Over 20 weeks, mentees work one-on-one with an experienced farmer to take their farming to new heights. Beginning Farmers can receive guidance on everything from fencing and breed selection to getting started with sales. Production Farmers receive a $2,000 award for completing a major project that enables them to scale up production, upgrade grazing systems, launch new sales outlets and more. Experienced farmers with more than seven years of humane, pasture-based practice are invited to apply as mentors and are compensated for their time. The next session begins February 20, 2027, and spaces are limited.
