The Climate Smart Farm Equipment Grant supports Washington producers in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving soil health, and increasing Washington agriculture’s resilience. Funded by Washington’s Climate Commitment Act, this program reimburses commercial agriculture and aquaculture operations for a portion of the cost of eligible equipment used in on-farm production. Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis. All commercial farming operations in Washington State are eligible to apply for this grant. The grant reimburses 75% of eligible equipment and delivery costs, up to a maximum of $200,000 per farm per year. Applicants who meet designation conditions, including veteran status, can receive an 85% reimbursement.
