Alyssa Charney

Executive Director

Alyssa Charney is NCAT’s Executive Director. She has experience advancing agriculture and conservation programs and policies at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the White House, on Capitol Hill, and with national nonprofit organizations. Her work has focused on agriculture policy, federal conservation and water investments, and partnerships that strengthen the delivery of technical assistance to farmers and ranchers. Alyssa first connected with NCAT early in her career as a FoodCorps service member in Red Lodge, Montana. She holds a Master of Science in Agriculture, Food, and the Environment and a Master of Public Health from Tufts University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Vassar College. She is based in Washington, D.C.
