Online Tool Showcases Farm to School Outcomes

USDA’s Food and Nutrition Administration has launched a new tool designed to showcase outcomes from the non-competitive Farm to School State Formula Grant Program. The Farm to School State Formula Grant Dashboard highlights the farm to school successes of state agencies that administer the National School Lunch Program. Some examples include promoting local foods and agricultural education, creating databases to connect local producers with child nutrition program (CNP) operators, and replicating Farm to School Institutes, a farm to school professional learning program for whole-school and early childhood education teams. The dashboard elevates innovative projects and best practices that strengthen regional supply chains and inspire producers.
