General Farm Description: We are a small family farm growing medicinal herbs, flowers and pasture. We follow organic and regenerative practices. We have slowly transitioned our flower farm and event space into a production herb farm. We sell wholesale and retail to herbalists, tea companies, local businesses and herb students. Farm is ~ 70 acres in woods, cover crop, pasture, perennials and annuals located in a beautiful, quiet, valley in western NC, 30 minutes drive from Asheville. Housing available.

Internship Details:
We are looking for a full time farm worker to assist in production, harvest, and processing of medicinal herbs.
Job Necessities:
Physically able to quickly and efficiently perform farm tasks in all outdoor conditions over a 8+ hour work day

Reliable transportation to the farm
Willing and able to take instruction in learning our farm systems and stick to the task at hand
Willing and able to ask for help when unsure

pay starts at $16/hr for first 4 work days, up to $20/hr after that time if its a good fit.
Educational Opportunities: Include experiencing the day to day workings of a medicinal herb farm. Opportunities to learn all about growing, harvesting, and processing over 20 different medicinal herbs. Farm Worker will see crops from seed through planting and harvest. We are also always happy to talk flower farming and pastured beef, as that has been our background for the past 15 years!
