Producer Lead – Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) Initiative
Anna joined NCAT in August, 2026, as Producer Lead for the Wool Quality Improvement Program. She works directly with wool producers and the NCAT team to support producer enrollment, implementation of conservation practices, technical assistance, and delivery of producer incentive funds.
Anna brings extensive experience in agriculture, ranching, education, and applied science. She and her family operate a working farm and ranch in central Wyoming, giving her firsthand experience with the practical realities of livestock production, land management, and implementing new practices on working farms and ranches. She has also been a researcher in women’s health, a medical school curriculum designer, librarian, grant writer, evaluation officer, and a member of several community non-profit boards related to agriculture and farm-to-plate!
Anna holds a PhD and has a background in science and education. She is drawn to NCAT’s practical, producer-centered approach and the opportunity to help farmers and ranchers access resources that make their operations more resilient and sustainable. Outside of work, she enjoys life on the ranch with her family and spending time outdoors.
